The spirit of patriotism and national pride came alive at Adamas University as the campus resonated with enthusiasm during the Har Ghar Tiranga march past. The event was a vibrant celebration of our shared identity, unity and deep respect for the nation.
The occasion was graced by Vice Chancellor Professor Suranjan Das, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Radha Tamal Goswami, Prof. (Dr.) Rajat Ray, Registrar, along with esteemed university officials, faculty members, and enthusiastic students.
The sight of the Tricolour held high, the rhythmic march of our students and the collective participation of the university community reflected a deep sense of pride and togetherness. The occasion beautifully captured the spirit of Har Ghar Tiranga and reminded us of the values of unity, integrity, courage and service that bind us together as a nation.
May this spirit of patriotism continue to inspire every member of our community to contribute towards a stronger, united and progressive India.

Ideas become meaningful when they are backed by the courage to build, adapt and keep moving forward. Students of the School of Business and School of Smart Agriculture, Adamas University, had an engaging interaction with Mr. Rohan Sirohia, Founder, Goodwyn Tea, and gained valuable insights from his entrepreneurial journey in the tea industry.
Mr. Sirohia spoke about the transition from campus to the corporate world, developing an entrepreneurial mindset, nurturing one’s capabilities and continuously upskilling. He also shared practical perspectives on marketing and branding, navigating challenges and building a business with resilience and purpose.
The interaction was attended by Prof. (Dr.) Radha Tamal Goswami, Pro Vice Chancellor; Prof. (Dr.) Samprit Chakrabarti, Dean – School of Business; Prof. (Dr.) B.C. The Siliguri Corridor, popularly known as the “Chicken’s Neck”, plays a crucial role in connecting mainland India with the Northeast. But what makes it so important, and what are the opportunities and challenges surrounding it?
Organised by the Department of Economics and Social Sciences (Political Science), School of Liberal Arts and Culture Studies, Adamas University presents a Special Orientation Lecture on “The Siliguri Corridor (Chicken’s Neck): Pros and Cons.”
The session will feature Colonel (Dr.) Shantonu Roy (Retd.), Indian Army Veteran and Kargil War & IPKF veteran, for a conversation that brings strategic perspectives and real-world experience to the classroom.
