In today’s increasingly complex, data-driven educational landscape, the role of administrators has expanded far beyond logistical management and procedural oversight. In a time where burnout, emotional fatigue, and institutional alienation are growing concerns, the need to cultivate inner stability, self-awareness, and humane responsiveness has never been more urgent. Recognizing this imperative, the School of Education at Adamas University has organized the program “Awakening Mindfulness: A Yogic Path,” held on June 21, 2025, on the occasion of the International Day of Yoga. This session, conducted under the dynamic leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Shauli Mukherjee, Professor & Dean, School of Education, Dean-International Relations at Adamas University. Framed as a contemplative and experiential journey, this foundational session introduced participants to the ancient yet highly relevant practices of yogic mindfulness as a pathway to self-regulation, emotional intelligence, and authentic administrative presence. Tailored specifically for Students, faculty of the School of Education, Adamas University, and students, staff members of Samtse College of Education, Royal University of Bhutan, the session emphasized the importance of embodied leadership, stillness amidst chaos, and conscious responsiveness in roles that often demand immediate action under emotional pressure.

Adamas University, in collaboration with The Art of Living, celebrated International Yoga Day with enthusiasm. Organized by the Office of Student Affairs, the event brought together students, faculty, and staff for yoga sessions, meditation, and breathing exercises led by expert instructors.

The celebration promoted physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, in line with the United Nations’ theme. Adamas University remains committed to holistic development and fostering healthy, balanced lifestyles.

Day 5 of the weeklong Cultural Immersion cm Residential Training Programme for the Students and Staff Members from Samtse College of Education, Royal University of Bhutan under the pioneering leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Shauli Mukherjee, Professor & Dean-School of Education, Dean-International Relations, Adamas University marked the final chapter of Cultural Immersion cm Residential Training Programme for the Students and Staff Members from Samtse College of Education, Royal University of Bhutan. The day unfolded with warmth and celebration. Samapan-The Grand Closure brimmed with vibrant cultural activities, touching moments of felicitation and presentation of certificate of recognition. The day reflected the spirit of learning, respect, and friendship that Bhutan and India shares—an inspiring end to a transformative journey. A lively visit to the Science City followed by a stroll through the vibrant streets of the City of Joy added a cheerful note to the concluding day, offering a relaxed and enriching glimpse into the local culture of Bengal.
The 5-day Cultural cm Residential Training Programme ended for the Students and Staff Members from Samtse College of Education, Royal University of Bhutan on a high note— Cultivating enduring relationships grounded in mutual respect, creating treasured memories, and reinforcing a collective commitment to sustained academic collaboration and cross-cultural understanding.
