πŸ“ The Screenwriting Department at Film and Television Institute of India Itanagar conducted an Additional Academic Input workshop, β€œDeveloping an Idea of a Short Film to Script,” from 2nd to 8th June 2026, led by filmmaker Umesh Kulkarni.

✨ The workshop focused on the process of developing a short film idea into a screenplay, covering story development, structure, and scriptwriting practices. Students engaged with the core aspects of screenwriting through discussions, writing exercises, and feedback sessions.

Professor Sudipta Bhowmick from SRFTI was recently invited to the orientation programme of IIM Calcutta's new batch, sharing fascinating insights into the culture of Bengal and the rich history of Kolkata.

During the session, he introduced students to the cultural heritage of Bengal and the historical evolution of Kolkata, highlighting the importance of contextual and cultural understanding in leadership and communication.

✨ Beyond representing India on this prestigious global stage, Nikhilesh joined creators, industry leaders, and filmmakers from around the world to explore collaboration and co-production opportunities across the globe.
