The Department of Business Administration, FIEM successfully organized the “Mindful Management: Yoga Workshop for Excellence” on 14 May 2026. Facilitated by International Yoga Expert Mr. Chittaranjan Samanta, the session encouraged mindfulness, stress management, and holistic wellness among our BBA and MBA students. The workshop was convened by Dr. Bhaswati Bhattacharya and compered by Tanish Ojha, a second year MBA student.

A vibrant Rabindra Jayanti Programme was organized by the Department of Business Administration in collaboration with the BBA and MBA students on 11 May 2026. Coordinated by Prof. Soumi Majumder, the event celebrated the timeless legacy of Rabindranath Tagore through cultural performances, recitations, and songs, creating an atmosphere of creativity, tradition, and literary appreciation among students.

The 2-Day Workshop on “Ethical Hacking and Cyber Security Development,” organized by the CSE (DS) Department on 21st–22nd April 2026, has been successfully completed. The workshop provided participants with valuable insights into the fundamentals of ethical hacking, cyber security practices, and emerging threats in the digital landscape. The sessions were highly interactive and enriched with practical demonstrations, enabling attendees to gain hands-on exposure and a deeper understanding of the subject. We are pleased to share that the event witnessed active participation and engagement from students, making it a fruitful and informative experience for all involved.

🌸✨ Kabi Pronam 2026 — A Celebration of Culture & Excellence ✨🌸

On 8th May 2026, the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, FIEM, proudly celebrated the 165th Birth Anniversary of Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore with soulful performances, heartfelt recitations, music, dance, and vibrant cultural enthusiasm presented by both students and faculty members of the CSE Department.

The event was graciously inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Anirban Chakrabarty (Principal), Prof. Tapas Roy (Vice-Principal), Prof. (Dr.) Sajal Kumar Giri (Registrar), and Prof. (Dr.) Jaydip Nath (HoD, CSE Department).

The occasion also featured the *ptr Felicitation Program, where the department honoured the top performers of the Semester Examinations (AY 2024–25) from all four batches for their dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence. 🏆🎓

It marks the successful nuclear tests conducted at Pokhran in 1998 under Pokhran-II. The day recognizes the contributions of scientists, engineers, and innovators in strengthening India’s progress in science, technology, and national development.

The Department of Electronics & Communications Engineering, FIEM successfully organized "A Hands-on Workshop on Fundamentals of Arduino Uno" from 6th April to 10th April 2026. The workshop provided students with practical exposure to microcontroller programming, circuit interfacing, and real-time project development using Arduino Uno. Participants actively engaged in hands-on sessions, enhancing their technical skills and innovation mindset. Special thanks to Prof. Abhijit Kr. Pal who conducted this workshop successfully.
