Arindam Ghatak, who did his Bachelors of Science in Microbiology Honors 2009-12, received the prestigious Pfizer Entrepreneurship Award 2019 from none other than Dr.Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, CMD Biocon Limited.

This award was to recognize the brightest minds in the field of Bio-entrepreneurship in India.

Arindam presently is the Co-founder and Head, Biological Sciences at Biomoneta Research, Bangalore-India, working primarily in buiding up technologies to prevent the transmission of the deadliest superbugs in Hospital and Healthcare settings.
