Last Sunday, Public Policy Club of IIM Calcutta in collaboration with Bengal Development Collective and with Swaniti Initiative as the knowledge partner, conducted the national semis and finale of the Bengal Policy Hackathon at the Joka campus.

We thank all the participants from 19 eminent colleges across the States of Delhi, Karnataka, Punjab, Assam, Telangana and West Bengal for coming all the way to Joka. We also thank our Dean NIER Prof. Manish Thakur, Prof Runa Sarkar, Prof. Shameek Sen - Associate Professor at NUJS, Mr Amitava Gupta - Chief sub-editor at ABP Ltd, and Mr. Atri Bhattacharya - IAS officer and Additional Joint Secretary at WB Govt for taking their valuable time out and helping us grow at policy-thinking. We also thank people from our student community who turned out to be a great audience !! Here are the final results:

Tomorrow we have our national semis and finals where teams are coming from 19 eminent colleges across the nation and judges are IAS officers and scholars and professors.
