Kindly find below few important facts regarding campus recruitment/interview processes. These may prove helpful & informative for you all. Please ensure mass circulation among your mates.
The interview process is basically a mutual exchange of information between an employer and you, as a candidate for a role/vacancy offered by a specific company.
Tips for Campus Recruitment Process:
1) You should have very sound knowledge of your core subjects & also your academic projects. Try to focus on the expectation of a company as a recruiter from you on the domain.
2) Be sure that all aspects should be mentioned on your CV projecting/highlighting all your credentials. Make a quality CV ASAP enriched in it's contents and make adequate hard copy print outs to be carried during campus placement activities. A CV should always be neatly designed to attract the attention of the person who's seeing it.
3) Know well about the organization/company your are applying for. It is advisable to always visit company's official website to go through every details related with the company before attending any drive.
4) Keep yourself abreast of the latest industry & technology trends as well as the current affairs.
5) Be active on companywise professional networks(if made available by the concerned company) where companies identifies potential/prospective candidates through promotional events & activities across the country. Professional forums host various industry relevant discussion forums, blogs, contests, workshops etc. that may help bridge the gap between industry & academia.
6) Always dress well(formal attire) to make a positive impression. Dressing with clean light outfits will add soothing effect to the eyes of the interviewer. If in doubt, be conservative. If the first impression is not positive, it will be difficult to change the interviewer’s mind during the rest of the interview process. Set cell phones and other electronic organizers turned off to avoid any awkward situations during the process.
7) Always wear a smile on your face. Greet each person with respect and professionalism. When you shake hands, make eye contact and smile. Handshakes should be firm but not aggressive; try to match the grip of the interviewer. It is good etiquette to wait to sit down until the interviewer invites you to do so.
8) Highlight your achievements decently & try to tackle/hide your weaknesses(if any) diplomatically on a positive note.
9) Do not misrepresent facts & be honest about what you say or claim. Do not put any deceptive/delusive advertisements/statements about yourself.
10) Try to choose a subject to be interviewed on which you are quite comfortable & confident.
11) Be ready with your brief self introduction. Try to put forward few unique facts about yourself as well which are not projected in your CV. Rehearse several times at home to avoid uneasiness & feel confident.
12) Don't worry about being a little nervous during the interview; being nervous is normal and expected. Remember, the interviewer wants to hire you if you have the right qualifications and interest in the position. Many interviewers will begin the interview with some "small talk" to help you relax. This may seem irrelevant to the position, but you are still being evaluated; be sure to demonstrate a positive attitude.
13) Stress on your personal SWOT analysis. Show that you understand your strengths and weaknesses and have a sense of direction.
14) Don't forget to give stress on the topics covered during your standard XII th as well as on basics of engineering covered during 1st semester, 2nd semester & so on
15) Remember interviewer expects crisp & interesting answers on what he/she asks.
16) Try to be calm, polite & focused while you interact & answer.
17) Try to explore, analyze, evaluate n understand the underlying messages/marketing punchlines/USPs behind few TV advertisements when you are relaxing at home.
18) Show your interactive, problem solving, team handling ability.
19) Remember, elimination process continues even at Final/HR round of interview. So, stay focused & consistent on your ultimate aim.

Aptitude Questions and Answers - IndiaBIX Learn and practice Aptitude questions and answers with explanation for interview, competitive examination and entrance test.

Unable to declare the CGI results as the company has mentioned that they will re-validate the current result & once again finally reach us with the updated selection result by Thursday(22.09.2016). Hence, it's better for everyone of us to be patient until then to get the authentic & final updates from the company. Kindly bear with us till then.

Mindtree has conveyed that they will conduct PPT and interviews for the shortlisted students(list shared earlier), on 25th September 2016.

The venue for the above will be at Techno India College of Technology at Rajarhat.

Kindly ensure that all the 7 shortlisted students from NSEC(2017 pass out batch) should attend the interview as per the directive of the company.

Other details regarding reporting time etc, will be conveyed shortly.

Awaiting for the final selection result from CGI....will update at the earliest whenever the same is received from the company.
