We are delighted to share that the first batch of our 3-month “AI for Modern Professionals” Certificate Course, conducted in collaboration with Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU), has successfully completed the programme.

The first batch comprised 95 learners, who successfully completed their learning journey and some of them have participated in the Valedictory Session. It was encouraging to witness their enthusiasm, engagement and commitment to building practical AI literacy for the modern workplace.

Media Skills Lab recently hosted a successful, day-long in-person session for the students of our 3-month Certificate Course, 'AI for Modern Professionals'.

Conducted in association with CLTCS, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication -NSOU-Activities Netaji Subhas Open University, the session brought together participants from across West Bengal for hands-on learning, dynamic discussions, and practical AI applications.

A major highlight was an inspiring address by Shri Debashis Sen, Retd IAS, former IT Secretary and Chairman of NKDA & HIDCO, who emphasized the vital importance of embracing AI responsibly in today's workforce.

Thank you to all the students and participants for making this day of upskilling so impactful and memorable!

Media Skills Lab is delighted to welcome Rakesh Khar Sir as our Mentor.

A distinguished media veteran with decades of editorial leadership experience, Rakesh Khar has led some of India’s most prominent news organisations including The Economic Times, Network18 Group, Zee Media, Deccan Chronicle, and TV9 Network.

Beyond newsroom leadership, he has played a significant role in shaping media strategy, public discourse, innovation, and journalism education. He currently serves as Senior Adjunct Fellow at Research and Information Systems (RIS) and is also associated as a Start-up Mentor at IIT Delhi Atal Innovation Centre.

His vast experience across journalism, public policy, media management, and storytelling will greatly enrich the learning ecosystem at Media Skills Lab.
