Vedanta College, Kolkata cooked meals for close to 2700 people in an endeavor to feed as many people as possible. The team even distributed grocery items to those in need.

Vedanta College, Mumbai : The team and staff from Vedanta College Mumbai's NSS unit stepped in for a food distribution drive to aid those affected by the pandemic. The team distributed 6000 meal packets daily to the shelter homes run by Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation, Thane, Mumbai. Their drive was funded and supported by Vedanta Foundation.

Vedanta P.G Girls College distributed grocery items to families of their students who fall under B.P.L. Bharat Guide rangers from Vedanta P.G Girls College took multiple initiatives – they distributed home prepared sanitizers, stitched and distributed masks, spread awareness and educated families in their communities about the pandemic. They created posters and hung them on several spots in their areas, tutored families in their community to use Ayush Mantralay app. Moreover, they cleaned spots, fed stray animals and birds, drew equidistant circles on the ground on public places to aid them with social distancing.
