"When Light Became a Language"

19 August — World Photography Day. 📷

From the first photographs in 1839 to the camera in our pockets today, photography has travelled a long way.

But the heart of photography has never changed.

We see something.
We feel something.
We want to remember it.
So, we capture it.

A photograph is more than an image. It can hold a memory, tell a story, cross a language, and sometimes make us feel the life of someone we have never met.

But every frame also carries a responsibility.

Whose story are we telling?
What are we leaving outside the frame?
And what might this image make someone feel?

Today, let us celebrate not just cameras and photographers, but moments, memories, people and stories.

Because photography is not really about how we capture the world.

It is about how we choose to see it.
