Health Awareness Camp on Cervical Cancer Vaccination

Guardians attended the Health Awareness Camp on the Cervical Cancer Vaccination Programme to be organized in school in the month of June.

Students also availed of a non-invasive haemoglobin test. Those found to have haemoglobin levels below 10 g/dL underwent a thalassemia screening test free of cost.

The programme was conducted by Dr. Bipasa Sen, President of the Managing Committee and Dr. Sharmistha Ganguly, Assistant Professor, NRS Medical College & Hospital. The members of the Ex-Students' Association extended their help & support for the programme. The programme was sponsored by The Bengal Obstetric & Gynaecological Society.

Our teachers, Ms. Dipannita Majumdar and Mrs. Moumita Sengupta helped in organizing this programme.

দীপালিদির অবসর গ্রহণের কিছু মুহূর্ত..

গভীর বেদনার সঙ্গে জানাচ্ছি আমাদের সকলের শ্রদ্ধেয়া মৈত্রেয়ীদি আজ ভোরে অমৃতলোকে যাত্রা করেছেন।
মৈত্রেয়ীদি ১৯৭৮ সালে অস্থায়ী শিক্ষিকারূপে এই বিদ্যালয়ে যোগদান করেন। ১৯৮১ সাল থেকে স্থায়ী শিক্ষিকারূপে তাঁর দীর্ঘ কর্মজীবন এই বিদ্যালয়ে অতিবাহিত হয়েছে। তাঁর বিষয় ছিল শারীরশিক্ষা। বিদ্যালয়ের ক্রীড়া প্রতিযোগিতা, স্বাধীনতা দিবস উদযাপন, ব্রতচারী প্রভৃতি প্রতিটি অনুষ্ঠান উজ্জ্বল হয়ে থাকতো মৈত্রেয়ীদির কর্মমুখর উপস্থিতিতে। তাঁর স্নেহময়ী ব্যক্তিত্ব প্রতিটি ছাত্রী ও সহকর্মীর মনে চির অমলিন হয়ে আছে। সুদীর্ঘ কর্মজীবনের পর ২০১৩ সালে তিনি অবসর গ্রহণ করেন। তাঁর শোকসন্তপ্ত পরিবারকে আমাদের গভীর সমবেদনা জানাই। এই বিদ্যালয় মৈত্রেয়ীদির অবদান চিরদিন স্মরণে রাখবে। তাঁর আত্মার চিরশান্তি কামনা করি।
