We humbly look forward to your participation in the "Golden Jubilee Celebration of Meitei Jagoi' : The Legendary Guru Devjani Chaliha's Institute for Manipuri Dance", which is to be held on 4th and 5th November (Saturday-Sunday), 2023, at the Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre (EZCC) Srijani, Santiniketan, Bolpur.
The related informations and general requirements for registration in the festival are hereby listed below :
1. Registration fees are as follows -
i) Group Dance (6-8 artists) — ₹ 2000
ii) Duet (2 artists) / Trio (3 artists) Dance —
₹ 1500
iii) Solo (1 artist) Dance — ₹ 1000
2. The maximum duration for each performance can be 10 minutes (ten minutes).
3. The performance can be either of Manipuri Folk or Manipuri Classical Dance form.
4. The background music and costumes used for the performances are expected to adhere to any of the Folk or Classical traditions of Manipur.
It's our humble request to each of you to join this festival with pure enthusiasm, as we promise to uphold the Manipuri tradition in this much awaited celebration, and stand by the beautiful authenticity of Folk and Classical Manipuri Dance.
