Installation Ceremony of
Brain Box Club (2026-27).

Objectives:
• To formally acknowledge and induct the Board Members of the Brain Box Club for the academic session 2026-27.
• To recognize and appreciate the leadership potential of the Club Members.
• To promote teamwork and encourage wider student participation in the Club’s activities.

Event Overview:
The Installation Ceremony of the Brain Box Club commenced with an eloquent and warm welcome address delivered by Babita Ma’am, who set an inspiring tone for the event.

The following students have been appointed to the Brain Box Club Board for the session 2026-27:

The proceedings were then carried forward by Hena Ma’am and former President,Nayab Mirza who demonstated the previous year’s event .

Nayab graciously introduced the newly appointed President Sayan Manna. Following her introduction , Sayan took the Presidential Oath and assumed responsibility for leading the remainder of the ceremony.

She then administered the oath of office to the Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and the Directors, formally inducting them into their respective positions.

Subsequently, the President presented a brief overview of the club’s achievements over the past year, which included active participation and notable successes in various inter-school and national-level quiz competitions.

The ceremony concluded with an outline of the upcoming initiatives and programs planned for the year, including a proposed educational visit to the Birla Industrial & Technological Museum (BITM) and Indian Museum.

The Installation Ceremony was a significant and memorable occasion, highlighting the club’s commitment to fostering leadership, collaboration, and academic excellence among its members.

Fearless Bharat Mission

Programme: Fearless Bharat Mission – An Initiative by Pathanam & The Education Trust under PATHANAM NEEM (National Experiential Education Mission)

Duration: 2 Hours (Each Session)

Silver Point School successfully organized the Fearless Bharat Mission Workshop in collaboration with Pathanam and The Education Trust. The mission aims to empower students with age-appropriate legal awareness, cyber safety, responsible digital behaviour, and civic values through experiential learning. The programme aligns with the vision of NEP 2020, encouraging students to become informed, responsible, and socially conscious citizens.

To create awareness about basic laws, rights, and responsibilities.
To educate students about cyber safety and responsible digital citizenship.
To help students recognize and prevent cybercrime, bullying, online fraud, and digital exploitation.
To develop ethical decision-making, critical thinking, and civic responsibility.
To inspire students to spread legal and safety awareness within their families and communities.

Programme Highlights
The workshops were conducted in two phases:
22 July 2026: Students of Classes III to VIII participated in an engaging and interactive session.
29 July 2026: Students of Classes IX to XII attended an advanced awareness programme tailored to their age group.

The two-hour sessions included informative presentations, real-life case studies, interactive discussions, role plays, and practical examples related to cyber safety, legal awareness, digital responsibility, and ethical citizenship.

The resource persons emphasized the importance of understanding laws, making responsible choices, and protecting oneself from online and offline risks.
Students actively participated by asking questions, sharing their views, and engaging in various activities. The sessions encouraged them to become responsible digital citizens and ambassadors of legal awareness within their communities.

The Fearless Bharat Mission Workshop was highly informative and impactful. It provided students with valuable knowledge about legal rights, cyber security, and responsible citizenship while reinforcing the importance of ethical behaviour and informed decision-making.

Workshop Report on Beyond 'Not Paying Attention': Understanding ADHD in Today's Classroom

Date: 31.07.26

The session began with a 30-second attention challenge, highlighting the difficulty of maintaining sustained focus. The speaker explained that ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by difficulties in regulating attention rather than a deficit of attention. She emphasized that ADHD results from differences in brain wiring, particularly in executive functioning, and is not a matter of willpower or overdiagnosis.

The workshop addressed common myths and facts about ADHD, emphasizing that it occurs equally in boys and girls, high-achieving students can also have ADHD, emotional regulation difficulties such as Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria are common, and excessive screen time may aggravate symptoms.

The session also focused on identifying ADHD in the classroom and implementing practical classroom interventions. Key strategies included creating a structured environment, incorporating movement breaks, legitimizing fidgeting, using timers and visual countdowns, conducting brief two-minute check-ins by the school counsellor, providing multisensory instructions with immediate and specific feedback, offering alternative assessment methods where feasible, reinforcing positive behaviours, using private redirection instead of public correction, co-creating simple classroom rules, providing preferential seating, and delivering instructions in manageable steps.

An interactive activity discussed classroom scenarios such as students forgetting homework, calling out answers impulsively, and struggling to begin or complete classwork on time, along with appropriate teacher responses. The workshop concluded by highlighting situations that warrant referral to the school counsellor, including chronic and pervasive symptoms, significant emotional distress, and when students openly disclose their difficulties.

The workshop provided valuable insights into understanding ADHD from a neurodevelopmental perspective and reinforced practical, inclusive strategies for supporting students effectively within the classroom.

Munshi Premchand Jayanti Celebration

Date: 31 July 2026 Venue: School Basement.

Munshi Premchand Jayanti was celebrated in our school with great enthusiasm and respect. The programme was held in the school basement and was organized by the Hindi Department. Students and teachers gathered to pay tribute to the great Hindi writer Munshi Premchand, who is known for his simple language and realistic stories.

The celebration began with a short introduction to the life and works of Munshi Premchand. The teachers explained how his stories highlighted social issues such as poverty, honesty, equality, and humanity. After the introduction, students presented a beautiful act based on one of Premchand’s famous stories. The act was performed with confidence and emotion, and it successfully conveyed the message of truth, kindness, and justice.

The costumes, dialogues, and expressions of the students made the performance very interesting. The audience appreciated the hard work of the participants with loud applause. The programme helped us understand the importance of literature and the values taught by Munshi Premchand through his writings.

Our Principal Incharge also addressed the students and encouraged everyone to read good books and learn moral values from great authors. He said that Premchand’s writings are still relevant in today’s society because they teach us to be honest, compassionate, and responsible citizens.

The celebration ended with a vote of thanks. Overall, the programmed was informative, inspiring, and enjoyable. It was a memorable experience for all the students, and it increased our respect for Munshi Premchand and his contribution to Hindi literature.

• To provide exposure to different career opportunities and pathways through expert guidance.
• To encourage schools to share innovative student projects and skill-based exhibits.
• To promote collaboration and exchange of ideas among participating schools.

Event Highlights
• The Skill Expo and Guidance Festival – Regional Event was organised by Bhavan’s Gangabux Kanoria Vidyamandir in accordance with the CBSE notifications and circulars.
• The event featured approximately 30 innovative projects presented by students from reputed schools, including DAV Schools, Birla Schools, Gokhale Memorial Girls’ School, Shri Shikshayatan School and several other participating institutions.
• The Skill Expo provided a valuable platform for students to demonstrate their creativity, innovation, problem-solving abilities and practical application of knowledge.
• Several projects focused on developing low-cost, sustainable and eco-friendly solutions to address real-life challenges.
• One of the noteworthy projects demonstrated the manufacturing of eco-friendly sanitary napkins at a low cost, highlighting an innovative approach towards sustainability and accessibility.
• Another interesting project showcased the preparation of low-cost Hazm Ki Goli using natural ingredients, demonstrating the application of traditional knowledge and natural resources.
• Students also demonstrated the process of making bioplastics using corn starch, presenting an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional plastic.
• An innovative project involved the preparation of chemical test strips using turmeric and ethanol to detect iron in water, demonstrating the practical application of chemistry in water testing.
• A project demonstrating the process of separating hydrogen from water highlighted the students’ understanding of alternative energy sources and scientific processes.
• Another fascinating exhibit demonstrated a footstep energy converter, designed to convert mechanical energy generated through footsteps into electrical energy.
• A creative educational game was also showcased to teach children about waste segregation. The game encouraged children to segregate waste while simultaneously promoting the collection and storage of maximum plastic waste through an engaging gaming format.

• The exhibits reflected the students’ ability to connect classroom learning with real-world applications and demonstrated how innovative thinking can contribute towards solving social and environmental challenges.
• As part of the Guidance Festival, expert sessions provided valuable insights into career choices, future opportunities and different career pathways.
• The interaction with experts enabled students and teachers to gain greater awareness about emerging fields, career options and the importance of developing relevant skills.
• The participation of schools from across the region provided an excellent opportunity for students and educators to interact, exchange ideas and learn from one another.

Conclusion
The Skill Expo and Guidance Festival – Regional Event 2026 was a highly enriching and meaningful experience that successfully brought together skill development, creativity, innovation and career awareness. The presentation of approximately 30 diverse projects demonstrated the immense potential of young learners to develop practical and sustainable solutions to real-life problems. The innovative exhibits, particularly those related to environmental sustainability, renewable energy, health and waste management, provided valuable insights into the application of knowledge beyond the classroom.

The event encouraged students to recognise and develop their individual talents while gaining exposure to diverse skills, innovative ideas and career opportunities. The programme reinforced the importance of experiential and skill-based learning and inspired students to think creatively, solve problems and explore their potential with greater confidence and purpose.

INTER-HOUSE FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT -2026

OBJECTIVES :-
1. To promote physical fitness, strength, speed, and endurance among students.

2. To develop football skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, tackling, and ball control.

3. To encourage teamwork, cooperation, and coordination among house members.

4. To instill sportsmanship, discipline, and respect for opponents, officials, and rules.

5. To develop leadership qualities, confidence, and decision-making abilities.

6. To provide opportunities for healthy competition and active participation.

FLOW OF THE EVENT :-

On the first day 6/7/26, of the tournament all the semi-final matches held .
In junior group (VI-VIII) Boys Naidu House beat Derozio House by 2-0 and Raman House beat Teresa House through Penalty shootout.
In Mid-group( IX-X) Boys Derozio House beat Naidu House by 1-0 and Teresa House beat Raman House by 2-1(in T.😎.

In Senior group (XI-XII) Boys Naidu House won by beaten Teresa House (4-0). Also Raman House beat Derozio House by 2-0.

For girls semi-final Teresa House beat Raman House through Sudden-death and Derozio House beat Naidu House by 1-0.

On the Final day in junior group Raman House beat Naidu House by 2-1. Mid group it was won by the Derozio House students by beaten Teresa House. In Senior group Raman House students lifted the trophy by beaten Naidu House in penalty shootout. Lastly in Girls football final Derozio House beat Teresa House by 1-0.

CONCLUSION:-
The Inter-House Football Tournament was successfully conducted in a spirit of enthusiasm, teamwork, discipline, and healthy competition. Students participated actively and displayed excellent sportsmanship, cooperation, and determination throughout the tournament. The event provided an opportunity for students to develop football skills, leadership qualities, confidence, and team spirit. Overall, the tournament was an enjoyable and enriching experience that promoted the importance of sports and physical fitness among students.

The objectives of participating in the Inter-School Competition were:
To provide students with a platform to showcase their talents, abilities, and creativity.
To promote healthy competition, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
To enhance students’ confidence, creativity, communication, and interpersonal skills.
To encourage interaction and learning beyond the classroom through inter-school exposure.
To motivate students to participate actively and develop a positive attitude towards competition.

An Inter-School Competition was organised at Jyotirmoy Public School on 29th and 30th July 2026. Students from our school enthusiastically participated in various events and represented the school with great zeal and commitment.

Throughout the event, the students displayed enthusiasm, discipline, confidence, and determination. Their active participation provided them with valuable exposure to a competitive environment and an opportunity to interact and learn from students of other schools.

Although our school did well, every participant was awarded a Certificate of Participation in recognition of their sincere efforts and active involvement. The students appreciated the experience and gained valuable lessons about teamwork, perseverance, confidence, and sportsmanship.

The participation proved to be an enriching learning experience for the students. It helped them develop their confidence, interpersonal skills, creativity, and ability to perform in a competitive setting. The experience also encouraged them to continue participating with enthusiasm and strive for excellence in future competitions.

DAG Museums Workshop- What's Hiding Behind Your Colours?

• The workshop spanned both days, and students attended all sessions and they fully benefitted from the experience. For two engaging days of creative exploration inspired by the works of Madhvi Parekh and based on Madhvi Parekh 's A Life in Line, Memory and Myth as organized by DAG.

• Madhvi Parekh was born and raised in Sanjaya, a village in Gujarat. Though she is self-taught and took up painting only in 1964, inspired by her artist-husband Manu Parekh, art remained a part of her consciousness through childhood memories, her family’s rituals such as the traditional floor designs of rangoli, popular folk stories, and simple village life.

Objectives
Day 1 was on finding images from colours.
• Finding images or recognizable shapes in clouds is a common psychological phenomenon called pareidolia, where the human brain naturally imposes meaningful interpretations onto random, vague visual patterns .
• Students created random patches of colours and then use their imagination and observation skills to identify or “spot” images, shapes, animals, objects, or faces within the patterns. They can outline the images they discover and develop them into creative artworks.

Day 2 Charcoal painting
• Students used charcoal to create imaginary creatures, allowing their creativity and imagination to take shape through expressive lines, textures, and forms. The activity helped develop their creative thinking, observation, and drawing skills.

Conclusion-
Students developed observation and drawing skills.
They understand the use of light, shade, tone, and contrast.
They explore charcoal as an artistic medium and learn different charcoal techniques.
It encourage creativity and imagination through expressive drawing.
It improve hand-eye coordination and control of strokes.
