Every action, no matter how big or small, matters in making the Earth a healthier planet.
With the objective of making our children aware of the various resources made available to us by Mother Earth and the importance of conserving them, Children decorated paper bags, went for a nature walk, cleaned the school garden and watered plants. These activities provide a source of learning as well as entertainment, building skills that aid the physical growth of the being.
The aim to instill the realisation of the world in which they live was evidently achieved by their enthusiasm throughout the day.

Celebrating love for nature Indus Valley Kindergarten hosted Nature Fest 2024, with eminent guests Joydip Kundu - Nature Conservationist and Philanthropist, Mr. S.V. Raman Mentor - Communication and Cultural Affairs, Ms. Amita Prasad -Director of Indus Valley World School and Ms. Nita Kanoria Owner of Wings Pre-school and Activity Centre, proactive parents and energetic children for a greener way of life.
The event began by invoking the almighty and kindling the lamp. Our director Ms. Suman Sood welcomed everyone with her warm presence and inspiring words.
Children and parents enthusiastically participated in pot painting, rain activity, best out of waste, and later had hands-on experience in gardening. Scavenger Hunt witnessed parents and children exploring natural treasures. The event ended on a happy note where all jived to the tune of "Walking in the Jungle."

Water play can be a wonderfully calming, therapeutic activity. Many children enjoy the soothing touch of water and the sensory stimulation that it offers. Focusing on one gentle and repetitive activity such as scooping, sieving, or running their hands through the water can really help a child to relax and unwind. This is a useful technique for improving concentration. Some lively splashing is also a great outlet for pent-up energy, allowing kids to let off steam, have fun, laugh, play, and be happy.
