আমরা যারা তীর্থপতি ইনস্টিটিউশন এর সাথে বিগত ২০-২৫ বছরে কোন না কোন ভাবে যুক্ত হতে পেরেছি, আশা করা যায় তারা প্রত্যেকেই শম্ভু দার চায়ের দোকান লক্ষ্য করেছি। স্কুলের বর্তমান শিক্ষক-শিক্ষিকার অনেকেরই চা পান আর ছুটির পর একটু সময় কাটানো এই শম্ভু দার চা দোকানেই হয়। পাশাপাশি ছাত্রদের বদমায়েশি করে বিস্কুট কেনা। আমি এবং আমার মত অনেক প্রাক্তন ছাত্রও যারা এখনও স্কুল চত্বরে কোন না কোন কাজে যাই, শম্ভুদার চা দোকানে এক কাপ লেবু চা তো একবার চলেই। আমরা যারা অনেকটা কাছ থেকে শম্ভু দা কে চিনতে পেড়েছি দীর্ঘদিন ধরে, আমরা জানি যে বাকির টাকাও লোকটা মুখ ফুটে চেয়ে উঠতে পারে না। এবারেও চায় নি।

ঘূর্ণিঝড় আম্ফান এর প্রকোপে শম্ভুদার চা দোকানটা আর নেই। স্কুলের প্রাক্তন ছাত্র সৌরভ বড়ুয়ার কাছ থেকে খবর পেয়ে, গতকাল আমরা স্কুল নিকটস্থ কিছু প্রাক্তন ছাত্ররা এলাকার ক্ষয়ক্ষতি দেখতে যাই। স্কুলের ওপর অনেকটাই নির্ভরশীল অস্থায়ী দোকান গুলোর মধ্যে শম্ভুদার দোকানটার ক্ষতিই সবথেকে বেশী হয়েছে। ছবি গুলোতে তা স্পষ্ট। অনেক চেষ্টায় শম্ভুদার সাথে ফোনে যোগাযোগ করা যায়, বিষয়টা জানানো হয়। কথা বলতে গিয়ে হতাশ হয়ে পড়লেও আমরা তখন শম্ভুদা কে হতাশ হতে দিই নি। চলুন আমরা সবাই মিলে এগিয়ে আসি, আমার কেউই তাকে হতাশ হতে দেবো না!
যারা বিষয়টা জানতে পারলেন প্রত্যেকের কাছে অনুরোধ রইল আপনারা সাধ্যমত সাহায্য করুন। আপনাদের আর্থিক সাহায্যে যা একত্রিত হবে তার বেশীরভাগটাই আমরা তুলে দেব শম্ভুদার হাতে। বাকিটা, প্রয়োজনমত পাশের অস্থায়ী দোকান গুলোর মেরামতের কাজে আমরা ব্যয় করবো।

It is hereby informed to all the students of class XII SCIENCE AND COMMERCE that Admit cards of Hs examination 2014 will be distributed tommorow at school from 11:30AM onwards.
N.B.: Students must carry their registration card and must wear school uniform.
Timing : 11:30am to 12:30~science
12:30pm to 1:30pm~commerce
so its a humble request to all the hs14 canditates from to take their admit cards by proper time.
