Generative AI in music is akin to resurrecting the woolly mammoth of creativity. Just as scientists strive to bring back extinct species through advanced biotechnology, AI breathes life into musical expression, raising artists to new heights of brilliance. Like the majestic mammoth roaming the ancient tundra, AI promises to captivate our imagination and push the boundaries of what's possible in music. As we eagerly await the dawn of true creativity and innovation, AI stands as a symbol of our quest to transcend mere imitation and usher in a new era of artistic exploration.

Augmented Reality to draw Images 04/10/2020

Augmented Notebook - The Next Level Notebook by Ashesh Mishra, Class X, ATL Lab, Lakshmipat Singhania Academy-Kolkata.

In times of COVID, lack of physical communication has caused hindering the progress of learning of children. Thus, it is necessary to communicate effectively to masses faster.
Thus, I have developed a project using Augmented Reality to enable drawing and writing directly on the screen without contact.
We create this project was by using color detection algorithms, which detects a distinct object (The Rubik's cube in our case) to follow its movement and draw shapes.
Thus, when on-screen share at online class -screen share, the software enables the teacher to draw and see, the diagram at the same time. It will be allowing them to explain concepts with their verbal expressions as well as the diagrams were virtually drawn on the screen. Visual cues are proven to be easier to memorize than a piece of text.

ATL LSA TinkerFest Winner - The Computer Aided Design 25/08/2020

The Computer Aided Design - An online tinkerfest workshop organised by the Lakshmipat Singhania Academy was first of its kind. The model created by Saurjesh Chatterjee of LSA class 6 is described as:
"It holds the quality of invincibility.

It is a super car with open air engine concept. Open air engine concept provides that it will no more need a ventilating device. It’s engine is dust and bullet-proof from 5.56 and 7.28 fire arms and resistant against small explosives. It is also rust proof as it is made up of Pure titanium.

This V-18 engine is found in Bugatti Chiron.

It can also be remotely operated.

It’s heavy duty Tyre can operate on terrain which is almost virtually impossible to cross. Its Tyre and axles can even resist 1-2 hits from an RPG.

Its weakest point is the antenna from which it can be remotely operated.

All its glass is bullet proof and also can resist grenades.

It speed can reach over 400 kmph. it can protect its driver from getting injured even when it is hit with a train.

It can be used to give cover to the front-line defense forces while a fight takes place. A 50 caliber machine gun can also be mounted on it.

It is to be used by military forces."

ATL LSA online tinkerfest Debate - IoT- The Future 23/08/2020

Our last ATL LSA event dealt with a debate on IoT. IoT that is internet of things is one of the most relevant topics today because let’s face it- we are using this very technology in these times. So we as organizers of Tinkerfest saw this topic to be fit for an interactive debate between students of various schools. All around the world many great minds are debating whether IoT is actually a boon or a bane and so by this debate we got an insight as to how IoT affects various people belonging to various different sectors of the world. To make things fun and interactive we decided to add a surprise rebuttal round. A team of two different students each participated from various schools. It was really a great enriching experience to see the students contradicting on the boons and banes of IOT. Our judges were enlighten by thoughts of young minds and had appreciated for their efforts.
