PLAYING WITH THE LIVES OF THOUSANDS OF STUDENTS, SINCE 1949: THE ICAI.
You study hard, day and night, but fail your CA exam. You curse yourself and your luck for not being good enough. You again study with the hope of passing and this cycle continues, in which the lives of thousands of students fall into the viscous cycle of failure, depression and self worthlessness.
Little do you know that the reason of your failure is not your incompetence, but the filthy politics and shameful vigilance and operational systems of our institute, the ICAI.
540 answer scripts of CA examination have been found in different parts of kolkata yesterday in the possession of people who are not authorized examiners. This has come to notice of the police by sheer luck, but this type of unauthorized checking practices is no secret.
This is not a new incident. ICAI knows it all, but still remains silent because this doesn't concern the vested interests of the people sitting in responsible positions.
Even afer publishing wrong result of students in the last year, ICAI did not bother to take stringent actions and make the whole system of examination a bit more fair, if not transparent.
Every examination brings various such incidents to us nationwide, which have become a normal procedure now and we have learnt to accept this corrupted system. All these incidents just end up with being shared a few times on facebook and whatsapp and that's it. No one cares about it.
How long will you just sit back in the baseless fear of icai cancelling your registration number and not raise a voice against it?
How long will you keep cursing yourself for failing?
This is the time for us to raise a voice against the unfair practices which are ruining the lives of hundreds of thousands of students.
Come and let us join together at 5.30pm at Russel Street outside ICAI building and raise our voice. Bring all the students, your friends, parents and guardians of students as much as you can and make this a cumulative and fruitful fight.
Do not be stopped by the excuse of your principal's red eyeing or office work to join the protest. It is a do or die situation now, which you have to fight. Now or never.
