You are aware that the schools are closed due to unprecedented situation of lockdown in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and therefore, the School Education Department has decided to organise a live classroom for the students of Madhyamik & Higher Secondary level.
The live programme would be conducted by some experienced Teachers through ABP Ananda channel from 7th - 13th April, 2020 daily from 3.00 PM. The schedule of Live Classroom would be as follows :
7/4/20 : English for both MP & HS students
8/4/20: Life Science for MP students & Accountancy for HS students
9/4/20: Mathematics for MP & HS
10/4/20: Bengali for MP & HS students
11/4/20: Physical Science for MP students & Physics for HS students
12/04/20: History for both MP & HS students
13/04/20: Geography for MP & Economics for HS students.

Students are invited to send questions through a dedicated e-mail or WhatsApp. Students may also ask questions during the live programme. Students are advised to mention Name, School name, district and class while forwarding their queries. The e-mail id and phone numbers are :

Details have already been uploaded in Banglar Shiksha.

It is further informed that there would also be online teaching using Banglar Shiksha portal. Audio/Video e-learning materials, Activity Tasks etc would be uploaded in the portal for all subject of all classes. The students would complete the activity task with the support from the teachers availed through phone call/WhatsApp etc. The students would submit their assignments once the school is open after the lockdown period is over.

It may be noted that under no circumstances the students should come outside their home.

You are requested to inform all schools so that schools in turn inform students over telephone/SMS or whatever means to cover maximum no of students and to follow up the programme till it ends. All educational functionaries at district and sub district level are to be instructed accordingly.

DI/S, PE are also requested to inform the concerned Chairman, DPSC about this programme.
