"VLSI Orientation"
Organized by The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Degree Engineering College in association with Ardent Computech Pvt Ltd.

Department of ECE organised a one day Workshop on VLSI Orientation for the 1st and 2nd year students. Ms Susmita Kanjilal explained the different subjects of curriculum that will play important roles in VLSI industry. Mr Indranil Mukherjee explained the role of VHDL/Verilog in VLSI industry. She also emphasised students to go for TANER TOOL course for easy placement opportunity in VLSI industry.

In-house Internship/training for ECE students on STEM Robotics & AI by Livid design Inc, at the Department of ECE, SURTECH was conducted from 30th July to 4th August 2025.

The internship was conducted by Mr Saurabh Kumar, CEO, Livid Design Inc. Students learnt about STEP Robotics and AI from grass root level. Students in small groups, participated in solving real life problems. Each of them worked in live project for last 2weeks of the entire time schedule
