We are excited to announce Seema Bahri as an awardee at our 5th Inspiring Women Achievers Awards- IWAA 2024.
Seema is an ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฉ๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ฒ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง. Her journey in the field of education began as a Montessori teacher at Kangaroo Kids Delhi. Later, she shifted to Kolkata with her family and got associated with a special mother whose need for her child's education and the lack of such schools encouraged her to embark on a journey of inclusivity.
She opened up Basic Funda, an inclusive Playschool in Tollygunge, Kolkata. And, as a strong believer in inclusivity, she became a philanthropist and connected with NGOs to engage in social work and make a difference in the lives of underprivileged children. This commitment to helping all led to the initiative called "๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐จ ๐๐๐ค๐๐ซ ๐๐๐๐ญ๐ก๐ฌ๐ก๐๐ฅ๐," where less privileged children were taught 11 activities on weekends in her school premises by well-trained and qualified personnel.
Currently serving as the Chairperson of ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐
๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง๐๐ณ, ๐๐ง ๐๐๐, and a member of the Early Childhood Association (ECA), Seema persists in prioritizing the education of children. She is actively involved in opening schools in the interiors of West Bengal in collaboration with Best Friendz society.
