๐ŸŽ‰ We are proud to announce that Umeed Global School has emerged as the Top School in Eastern India at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) 2026 Kolkata Regional Championship, held at New Town School, Kolkata, qualifying for the WRO National Championship in the Elementary Category to be held in Hyderabad in the month of September.

๐Ÿค– Representing the school, Team Al-Khwarizmi Bots developed Harmony Bot โ€“ An AI-Powered Cultural Companion, designed to promote cultural awareness through interactive voice-based conversations. The robot responds to voice commands and provides educational content, including information from and recitations of revered scriptures such as the Qur'an, the Bible, and the Bhagavad Gita, encouraging learning and cultural understanding. ๐Ÿ“š๐ŸŒ

All four respected Qaris, renowned for their excellence and deep expertise in the art of Azaan and Qurโ€™anic recitation, graced the occasion as honoured guests and judges, guiding and evaluating the participants with great insight.

We hope that this Azaan Competition will nurture a deep love and respect for the Azaan among students, encourage them to deliver it with confidence and beauty, and continue to inspire them to uphold and carry forward these values in the years to come.
