The winds of "Basanta" returned to Mannicktala Boys' Hostel with the spell bounding aura of Maa Saraswati. Shree Shree Saraswati Puja was celebrated in our hostel after 2 years.
This year was truly sentimental for us. We celebrated not only the Goddess of Wisdom, but the very spirit of Manicktala, and by its extension what it means to be a Khallu.
Those sleepless nights, of tackling puja preparation, amidst the semester exam, brainstorming sessions, the struggle for squeezing donations from every corners are etched in each of us.
We found our home away from home in this hostel, and the brotherhood of our batchmates and the wonderful seniors are something to really treasure.
The stars of Maniktala shall continue to shine forever.
And thus we say:
"আরে আমরা কারা, মানিকতলা!!"
