Kaliedoscope – A creative and innovative approach to learning concepts

This is an interactive class for 5 to 10 year olds where we will work together to "GROW" :

G - Generate interest in diverse topics by using all of our 5 senses to learn instead of simply mugging from books

R - Reinforce concepts taught in school but help them develop a questioning mind

O - Out of the Box thinki

ng encouraged and appreciated

W - Work in a team to develop social skills, leadership and communication

The basic idea of this programme is to make kids feel that learning can be fun. Using Videos, Drama, Clay Modelling, Art and Craft we will explore from various angles topics ranging from “Steps of Water Cycle like Condensation etc” to “Indus Valley Civilization” and understand them using all of our senses. Working in a diverse age group is a huge advantage as kids learn from each other too. The aim is not to teach but to awaken their mind and help them understand core concepts clearly without just mugging them up. “Learning by doing” is our motto! K Club Membership Rules :
Age of Members : 5 to 10 years (No Adult members being accepted presently) �

Membership Fees - 200 Rs per meeting
Weekly Club Meeting – Every Friday from 6pm to 7:30pm (Please get the child by 5:50 to help them settle down for the session)
Location - Ballygunge, Kolkata 19

The children should come dressed in comfortable clothes as they may jump and run a little � and they should carry their water bottles and a napkin

Parents will be invited to attend the last 15 minutes for a couple of sessions when the children are presenting on a topic. Enrol your child for K Club Membership at the earliest as the first batch will be restricted to 10 members only to ensure initial bonding and effective learning.
