Our little learners explored the idea of germination by creating their own little plants in a cup with cotton and seeds. They set up the process themselves and took care and responsibility for their little seeds. 💧☀️

The activity encouraged observation, patience and a simple understanding of how living things grow and change over time. It also gave each child something to care for and look forward to as they watch their seed develop. 🌱💚

Stories become more engaging when children can see the characters and follow the action. 🦁🐭

Our little learners explored “The Lion and the Mouse” through an interactive storytelling session, with colourful placards, visual cues and the story displayed on the board.

Seeing the characters and events as the story unfolded helped children follow the sequence, recognise familiar actions and connect words with what they were seeing. 🎨👀

These sessions also give young learners opportunities to listen carefully, build vocabulary and understand stories with greater attention and involvement. 🗣️🌱

Our young patriots celebrated the day through a mix of creative activities, performances and meaningful discussions about our country.

Class 1 worked together to create tricolour paper jets, learning the joy of collaboration as they turned their artwork into little symbols of a soaring nation. ✈️🎨

Class 2 explored the spirit of Har Ghar Tiranga by drawing homes, schools, cars and public spaces proudly displaying the national flag, followed by making tricolour wristbands. 🏠🇮🇳

Our Pre Primary learners brought the celebration alive through patriotic dances, national songs and poetry, while also learning about inspiring national figures through role play. 🎶💃

Our UKG learners coloured patriotic badges in the tricolour, combining creativity with an introduction to the significance of Independence Day. 🖍️🇮🇳

Across every class, the celebrations gave children a chance to express their creativity, work together and connect with the meaning of the day in an age appropriate way. 💙

Independence Day at Swarnim was filled with pride, reflection and a sense of responsibility. 🇮🇳

The celebration began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by heartfelt student performances, including patriotic songs and dance performances. 🇮🇳🎶

The day also included an Awareness & Pledge Programme under the “10 Crore Nasha Mukti Pratigya Maha Abhiyan 2026”, conducted in collaboration with the Medical Wing of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya. The programme encouraged awareness and a collective commitment towards a healthier, substance free society. 🤝

The celebration concluded with an inspiring address by our Principal, reminding everyone that the spirit of independence also comes with the responsibility to make thoughtful choices and contribute positively to society.

A day to celebrate our freedom and reflect on the kind of future we want to build. 🇮🇳💙
