VITEEE Counselling 2017 has been started through offline process from 10th May 2017. VITEEE 2017 was a University level examination organized by VIT University for providing admissions into B.Tech programme. Candidates who have qualified the VITEEE exam will be able to participate in the counselling process. Counselling dates of VITEEE 2017 for phase-1 and phase-II has been released. Through this article, candidates can check the detailed procedure of VITEEE Counselling 2017.

Candidates looking for admissions in B.Tech courses offered by VIT University are required to clear the VITEEE exam 2017. The admission process will be done through a single window counselling at Chennai & Vellore campuses. The counselling process has been started from 10th May 2017. Counselling for phase-1 is scheduled in three days i.e. 10th, 11th and 12th May 2017 and counselling for phase-2 is scheduled on 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 22nd May 2017. Candidate have to appear the counselling as per their rank.

Counselling Eligibility
Here we have mentioned the eligibility to appear in the counselling process:

VITEEE 2017 Rankholders between 1 to 99999 are eligible to attend the counselling for admission in Vellore / Chennai / Bhopal (MP) / VIT-AP
VITEEE 2017 Rankholders 100000 and ABOVE are not eligible for admission in Vellore / Chennai / VIT-AP
For VIT- Bhopal: VITEEE-2017 Rankholders upto 150000 are eligible to attend the counselling for admission in Bhopal (MP). The date of counselling for Rank holders between 100000 to 150000 (only for Bhopal, MP) will be announced in due course.
Counselling Procedure
Here, we are providing the detailed VITEEE Counselling Procedure:

Firstly, candidates will be selected for counselling on the basis of their performance in the VITEEE 2017 examination.
Admission process will be organized in Vellore / Chennai / Bhopal(MP) / Amaravathi(AP) campuses for all the B.Tech programmes offered at the four campuses of VIT University. through single window counselling.
Shortlisted candidates are needed to report for the counselling at the campuses as per their preferences.
The seats will be allotted to candidates on the basis of their merit and availability of seats.
Shortlisted candidates are required to pay Rs. 50,000/- via demand draft in favor of “VIT University” on their seats being confirmed.
In case candidate fails to appear for the admission process on the prescribed date, their seats will be offered to the next candidate in the merit list.
Documents Required for Counselling/Admission
Candidates are required to bring the following documents in original with one set of photocopies. Documents required at the time of counselling are listed here:

VITEEE Result 2017
VITEEE Counselling Admit Card
Copy of Aadhar Card with self attested
10th Class certificates or any age proof certificate
12th or equivalent exam mark sheet/hall ticket
Transfer Certificate or School Leaving Certificate
Nativity Certificate (For candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura).
Category certificate (for SC & ST candidates)
Demand Draft of Rs. 50,000/- in favor of “VIT University” payable at Vellore.
