Dr. Tapas Kumar Pal is presently Associate Professor & Head, department of Economics at Darjeeling Government College. He is also a guest faculty at the department of Business Management, University of Calcutta. He obtained his Master degree, M. Phil. and Doctoral Degree in Economics from the University of Calcutta. He has been teaching Macroeconomics both at under graduate and post graduate levels since a decade. His papers have been published in numerous national and international journals of repute. He has also written a textbook on Macroeconomics earlier, covering the B. Com. (Hons.) syllabus of Calcutta University.

About the Authors:

Dr. Brototi Roy, teaching Genetics at Maitreyi College, University of Delhi, since 2008, has obtained her M.Sc., M.Phil. and Doctoral degrees from the Department of Zoology, University of Delhi. She has published several research papers in Journals of National and International repute. She has contributed a chapter on “Hormonal Regulation of Testicular Functions in Reptiles" in the volume- Hormones and Reproduction of Vertebrates, published by Academic Press
Dr. Meena Yadav, teaching Biotechnology at Maitreyi College, University of Delhi since 2009, has obtained her M.Sc. and Doctoral degrees from the Department of Zoology, M.S. University of Baroda, Vadodara, Gujarat. She has been a Gold Medalist in M.Sc. (Zoology). Dr. Yadav has published several research papers in Journals of National and International repute. She has been a recipient of Junior Research Fellowship from UGC(NET-JRF). She has authored several e-chapters on the subject for various projects of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), under National Mission on Education through ICT (NME-ICT).
