exams have been -postponed. Many students were talking about the possibility of the being . However, with this extension it seems viable to conduct exams in July-August 2020.

Have you wondered who’d be at loss if exams are scrapped?

The Top 50 .

Instead of 100 rankholders of 2020 there will just be 50.

It can be a major major loss for those aspiring for it and the deserving ones.

Moreover, if exams are conducted so late, there can be a possibility of deferring November attempt but a bigger extension could have a ripple effect on May 2021 term as well.

Also, on a lighter note, there could be a situation where ICAI conducts two exams in November with separate set of students. However seeing the past record of ICAI results, it would be a loss for the people who would be repeating in November had the exams been conducted as scheduled. Furthermore, number of students in November set will be far less as we know only about 20% students pass and rest 80% repeat in the next term and in November there will be no repeaters.

This is a strange situation, no one can say what’s in stock. All we can do is stay calm.
