Brain Gym Exercise: Fun Shape and Pattern Matching Challenge done by Senior KG Children.
Today, the children enjoyed a very fun, engaging, and interesting Shapes & Pattern Matching Brain Gym activity. The activity was designed to improve their observation skills, concentration, memory, and speed of thinking while making learning enjoyable.
The children were divided into pairs. Each pair was shown a flashcard containing a pattern made with different shapes. The teacher carefully explained the pattern and then said, “Start!” Both children observed the flashcard, quickly remembered the arrangement of the shapes, and tried to recreate the same pattern using the available shapes.
The child who completed the correct pattern first was declared the winner. The children were very excited to participate and eagerly tried to observe the shapes, remember their positions, and arrange them correctly. The activity created a joyful and healthy sense of competition while encouraging the children to learn through play.
