Its is mentioned in Hadith Number 5680 in Bukhari that was narrated by Ibn Abbas(R.A) in which Prophet(SAWS) said there is healing in three things, A gulp of honey, cupping, and branding with fire. But Prophet(SAWS) forbid us to use branding with fire.

On the Night of Power Angels Recommended Hijama Cupping when Prophet Muhammedd(PBUH) went to Meraj.

Hijama - Cupping done on the Prophet (PBUH)

Narrated by Jabir bin Abdullah (R.A): "The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) used to have cupping performed on his head and between his shoulders, and that he used to say, 'Whoever wants to perform cupping then let him seek the month of Rajab and abstain from cupping in the months of Dhul-Hijjah, Muharram, Safar and Rabi-ul-Awwal.'"(Sunan AbuDawud, Book:28, Hadith:3867)
