IFLA - Top 20 Rain-Related Idioms & Vocabulary ☔️

1) It’s raining cats and dogs

Hindi: मूसलधार बारिश (musaldhaar ) barish)

Bengali: ভীষণ বৃষ্টি (bhishon brishti)

Example: Don’t forget your umbrella, it’s raining cats and dogs outside! 🌂🌨️

2) Take a rain check

Hindi: बाद में लेना (baad mein lena)

Bengali: পরে নেওয়া (pore neowa)

Example: I can’t join today, can I take a rain check? 🤔

3) Every cloud has a silver lining

Hindi: हर बुरे समय में अच्छा मौका होता है (har bure samay mein accha mauka hota hai)

Bengali: প্রতিটি মেঘের আড়ালে রোদ আছে (protiti megher arale rod ache)

Hindi: बुरे समय के लिए बचाना (bure samay ke liye bachana)

Hindi: खुशियाँ बिगाड़ना (khushiyan bigaadna)

Hindi: हर किसी के जीवन में कठिनाई आती है (har kisi ke jeevan mein kathinai aati hai)
