I lay writhing in sweaty fever whole night
She was by my side with teary sight -she is my MOM!
I was despondent and lost juice to fight
She hugged me tight and showed me light-she is my MOM!
I had been bruised in relations and loved spite
She cuddled,she mollycoddled and urged me to be polite -she is my MOM!
I bungled,I fumbled and would often get jumbled
She stabled,she sparkled and made me kindled -she is my MOM!
I lost my appetite,hated all bites
She toiled and made those savoury morsels to my delight -she is my MOM!
I flustered,I faltered and I often paltered
She sheltered,she haltered and her behavior never altered-she is my MOM!
We humans love our moms.Moms are never ending source of love and solace to our battered souls.Thank youGOD for this sublime shower of unconditional love and respite.
