IEM Computer Society Dedicated to computing and technology revolving around it, this society is the first of its kind in our college. We have a lot of ideas and plans in our mind.

IEM Computer Society is a Centralized Computer Science and Technology based club , dedicated to computing and technologies revolving around it and is the first of its kind in our college , Institute Of Engineering & Management,Kolkata. But we can only implement it with your help. And what we most want from you guys, irrespective of which year you are in, are suggestions to improve this society

and make it more interesting. Any contacts of somebody credible enough to come and take a workshop or seminar will be very helpful. Till now, we have thought of conducting workshops, coding events, technologically eventful weeks/months, quizzes, discussions forums and there's a lot more to come. From you and from us. IEM Computer Society in association with Innovación 2015 brings you the first workshop of the season on web design, on the 2nd & 3rd of November. The cost of the workshop is Rs. 300 per student. The last date for registration is 31st October 2014.

IEM has achieved new heights as 21 teams have qualified for the round 2 of TCS CodeVita 2014.

General Guidelines for Android Boot Camp:

1. Please bring your laptops on the day of registration (if you are attending the java session, you need to bring your laptops on that day as well to take the sdk) as well as on the days of the workshop.

2. Online registrations close on 8th and on-spot registrations start on 8th and go on till 10th. On 8th(after 3:30pm) & 9th(after 10:00am).

We are glad to present GREYCAP, a tech quiz that we had promised you guys. It will take place in our own B.Tech campus on 8th November. Tentatively it will start at 1.30 p.m. We will let you know the exact time soon. As for the selection procedure and rules, i will post a very detailed quiz structure right now to get you comfortable with the type of quiz we are going to conduct.
