Splash for Children A learning space for lesser privileged children: fostering Strong Foundations, Pride, Leadership, Achievement, Self-esteem, Hope and Happiness

We start with a simple belief – that every child, irrespective of their socio-economic background, has the right to an excellent education. They have the right, just as any child from a more affluent background, to the best learning resources, to the magic of a learning environment that helps build healthy self-esteem, encourages dreams and aspirations for a better life, that empowers them with th

e skills needed to build a better future for themselves. And they have the right to a learning environment that allows them to enjoy their childhood, a place where they are safe and loved. To see a less-privileged child grow up with a strong sense of self-worth, the courage and determination to lead a better life, and a spirit of “I Can and I Will” – that is our dream and the core of our Program. PROGRAM OBJECTIVE

To provide quality learning / teaching resources to children from underprivileged communities, that enable them to build familiarity and comfort with the English language. THE SPLASH PROGRAM

THE SPLASH ENGLISH-LANGUAGE PROGRAM

Our first initiative aims to help lesser-privileged children develop comfort with the English language, enabling them to move into professional or skilled work, as compared to their parents. Presently, we run three Centres and work with about 90 children. TARGET 2013

We have come a long way since we started in September 2010. Today we have over a hundred children enrolled in our programme. We have ambitious plans for the year ahead. We look forward to your continued support and encouragement to help us achieve our goals.

IT IS NOT ABOUT THE PICTURE BUT THEIR IMAGINATION

The splendid imagination of the child is what is astounding.
When asked to draw a scenery, it was interesting to see that he drew all the minutes of it like the reflection of the sun, oar of the boat, stones in the river, icecap,etc.

How many of us in our childhood didn’t think drawing a scenery meant drawing a mountain,a river and a sun??

They deserve the knowledge not for themselves but to take the world forward.

They CAN and they WILL.
