On the 12th International Day of Yoga, Kusum Devi Sunderlal Dugar Jain Dental College and Hospital, in association with Chitpur Police Station, celebrated Yoga Day at Tala Park, Kolkata. The event commenced with a marathon promoting fitness and well-being, followed by a rejuvenating yoga and meditation session.
The celebration highlighted the importance of physical health, mental wellness, and community participation, reinforcing the message of leading a balanced and healthy lifestyle through the practice of yoga.
On the occasion of World No To***co Day, the Department of Public Health Dentistry successfully conducted a screening and educational camp in collaboration with Brainware University.

The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Kusum Devi Sunderlal Dugar Jain Dental College and Hospital, had a truly enriching and successful experience at the 23rd IAOMP PG Convention 2026, Mathura. The convention witnessed enthusiastic participation from both faculty members and postgraduate trainees, reflecting the Department's commitment to academic and professional growth.
The keynote address by Dr. Jayanta Chattopadhyay and the prestigious Dr. Abhay Chandak Oration Lecture delivered by Dr. Subhalakshmi Sen was highly informative and inspiring. The department was proudly represented through insightful scientific presentations by Dr. Raksh*th Shetty, Dr. Maumita Bhattacharya, Dr. Surajit Bose and Dr. Debdita Banerjee. Faculty members also actively contributed by chairing multiple scientific sessions, facilitating academic discussions.
A special congratulations to Dr. Atiya Fatima for securing the First Prize in the Scientific Paper category and also in the Online Seminar Competition, along with Dr. Nandita Kundu and Dr. Simran Shaw. These achievements are particularly commendable as they were accomplished by our first-year postgraduate trainees.

On the special occasion of National Oral Pathologist Day 2026, Kusum Devi Sunderlal Dugar Jain Dental College and Hospital, in association with the Kolkata Municipal Corporation, successfully organised a Mega Oral Health Screening Camp on 28th February, 2026.
The camp was conducted across five Primary Health Centres in different parts of the city, aiming to promote oral health awareness and provide free oral cancer screening services to the community.
