20.04.26 to 24.04.26 for students of Balvatika I to Grade II, focusing on the theme βHealthy Eating.β
The week was filled with engaging, fun-filled, and meaningful activities to instill healthy food habits in our young learners:
π₯ Day 1: ΰ€ͺΰ€Ήΰ€ΰ€Ύΰ€¨ΰ₯ β Students enthusiastically identified fruits and vegetables using colourful flashcards.
π Day 2: Healthy vs Junk Food Sorting Game helped children understand the importance of nutritious choices.
π Day 3: Fruit Salad Day saw students bringing cut fruits and enjoying a healthy shared treat.
π¨ Day 4: Colour the Food Worksheet encouraged children to recognise foods by colours like green vegetables and red fruits.
πΆ Day 5: The week concluded with a lively rhyme and discussion on βEat Healthy, Stay Healthy.β

Theme: Love for Books π
Our young learners celebrated World Book Day with great enthusiasm and joy. Students brought their favourite storybooks and participated in an engaging storytelling session conducted by teachers. The picture reading activity sparked imagination and curiosity among the children.
Adding a creative touch, students designed beautiful bookmarks, showcasing their love for reading. The highlight of the celebration was the delightful role play, where children confidently portrayed simple characters like kings, fairies, and animals, bringing stories to life.

πΏπ Pollution Awareness Drive by Rammohan Club | TIGPS Nabagram πΏπ
The Rammohan Club of Techno India Group Public School, Nabagram successfully conducted a Pollution Awareness Program on 24 April 2026 at Dharsa Petrol Pump PUC Centre, Konnagar.
With the objective of promoting a cleaner environment, students actively observed and analyzed vehicular emissions using the Pollution Under Control (PUC) system. A total of 8 vehicles, including cars, two-wheelers, a police van, and trucks, were examined during the visit.
It was observed that one two-wheeler exceeded the permissible carbon emission limit, and the owner was advised to undertake proper servicing to control emissions.
Beyond observation, our students engaged with vehicle owners and the public, spreading awareness about:
βοΈ Regular emission checks
βοΈ Timely vehicle maintenance
βοΈ Individual responsibility in reducing air pollution

Techno India Group Public School, Nabagram proudly observed and celebrated UN English Language Day with great enthusiasm and spirit.
The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by our respected Principal, Coordinators, and the HOD of English, marking an auspicious start to the event. This was followed by an insightful speech highlighting the importance of the English language as a global means of communication and expression.
Students showcased their talents through a graceful sonnet recitation and a melodious song, adding charm to the celebration. The highlight of the event was a captivating courtroom drama from The Merchant of Venice, which beautifully brought literature to life on stage.
The programme was well-organised and deeply meaningful, reflecting the studentsβ creativity, confidence, and love for language.

πβ¨ Earth Day 2026 Celebration at Techno India Group Public School, Nabagram β¨π
Techno India Group Public School, Nabagram joyfully celebrated Earth Day on 22 April 2026, embracing the theme βOur Power, Our Planet.β
Our Balvatika students participated with great enthusiasm in a variety of engaging activities. They coloured beautiful pictures of Mother Earth, came dressed in vibrant blue and green shades, watered plants, and actively took part in a plantation drive by planting saplings. They also expressed their love and care for the planet by speaking a few lines on Mother Earth. A refreshing barefoot nature walk helped them connect closely with nature and develop environmental sensitivity from an early age.
Students of the Preparatory and Middle School actively participated in Inter-House Competitions, including poster making, flower impression, and land art activities, showcasing creativity, teamwork, and environmental awareness. The Land Art activity, a new concept for our students, involved creating beautiful artworks using natural materials like soil, leaves, stones, sand and clay. The students explored this innovative form of expression with great enthusiasm and performed exceptionally well.
The celebration concluded with the Earth Day Pledge taken by senior students, reaffirming their commitment to protect and preserve our planet.
Together, we continue to take small yet meaningful steps towards a greener and more sustainable future. π±π

On 20 April 2026, Techno India Group Public School, Nabagram transformed into a vibrant canvas of imagination as our students participated in a unique and engaging Land Art Workshop. π¨π
Using natural materials like soil, sand, wood sticks, stems, and leaves, our young artists explored the beauty of creating art in harmony with nature. Each creation reflected not just creativity, but also a deep appreciation for the environment.
