LIFE, SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS
The rational faculty of human beings is the key to our sense of purpose and fulfillment. There are many factors, such as disease, pain, distress, tragedy and natural disasters, that might cause individuals to wish not to be alive, but it is definitely worth being born and worth living for the acquisition of knowledge and the insights which it offers into the nature of the universe and mankind's place in it, as is the view shared by Anagoras, Aristotle and Plato. As even Albert Einstein had put, in a newspaper interview given in 1929 while discussing relative theory, that only now we know that the same force that moves electrons in their ellipses about the nuclei of atoms moves our earth in its annual courses around the sun and brings us the rays of light and heat which makes life possible on this planet...
