🇮🇳 Har Ghar Tiranga | Independence Day Celebration 🇮🇳

Celebrating the spirit of freedom, the pride of being Indian, and the promise of a brighter tomorrow!

Delhi Public School Megacity, Kolkata, came alive with patriotism, pride, and enthusiasm as we celebrated the 80th Independence Day under the inspiring spirit of Har Ghar Tiranga. 🇮🇳✨

The celebrations commenced with the ceremonial flag hoisting by our esteemed Chief Guest, Mr Debraj Das, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bidhannagar Division, in the distinguished presence of Mr Nandadulal Ghosh, WBPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Traffic-I, Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate; Director Mr Chetan Kanodia; our Academic Advisor, Mrs Indrani Sanyal; General Manager, Dr Suman Singh Ganguly; and other dignitaries.

The Guard of Honour set a solemn and proud tone for the occasion, as our young citizens stood with dignity and respect, celebrating the values of courage, sacrifice, and freedom that define our nation.

The campus then resonated with the vibrant spirit of India through a captivating cultural programme featuring patriotic songs, dances, speeches, and poems. The performances beautifully reflected the aspirations of our young learners and their commitment to carrying forward the legacy of our freedom fighters.

A special highlight of the celebration was the felicitation of our outstanding students for their achievements in academics and co-curricular activities. Their accomplishments were celebrated as a testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing excellence in every sphere. 🏆

As the Tricolour soared high, it reminded us that freedom is not merely a legacy—it is a responsibility. May our students continue to uphold the values of unity, integrity, courage, and service, and contribute towards building a stronger and more compassionate India.
