What a phenomenal start to the season! 🚀
The IoT Applications Club (IoTA) just wrapped up our 2026 Orientation, and the energy was absolutely electric. With over 40 enthusiastic participants and our respected professors guiding the way, it was the perfect kickoff!

We didn’t just talk about our goals—we gave everyone a true behind-the-scenes look at how we build. From Team Marut’s ISRO-IRoC qualified drone automation to the architecture behind the IEEE SSCS 2026 winning NetraLink, participants got insider insights into what it takes to innovate at the highest level.

But this orientation was just as much about the future. We laid out a detailed roadmap for upcoming recruitment opportunities, showing exactly how new members can step up and grow with us. We also dropped some major details about our upcoming flagship events for Srijan 2026—get ready for 'Lord of The Ring' and 'IoT Bidwars'! Plus, we officially announced our Drone Automation workshop, kicking off on April 17th. 🚁

A massive thank you to our faculty professors and mentors. Their talks on collaborative innovation, adding real value to society, and how IoTA continues to reshape the innovative landscape of Jadavpur University were truly inspiring.

We capped off the day by putting everyone’s skills to the test with a fast-paced, interactive IoT and ML quiz. Seeing the technical sharpness of the participants proves that the future of IoTA is incredibly bright.
