Wishing our G B Global School family a very blessed Eid e Milad-un-Nabi!

Today, we commemorate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), a day that inspires us to reflect on his timeless teachings of peace, compassion, kindness, and unity. Observed on the 12th day of Rabi' al-awwal, the third month of the Islamic calendar, this occasion reminds us to embrace values that bring communities together and make the world a better place.

Mother Teresa's birth anniversary is observed annually on August 26. Born in 1910 as Anjezë Gonxhe Bojaxhiu in Skopje (now North Macedonia), she is globally revered for her humanitarian work.

· Her Legacy: She founded the Missionaries of Charity in Kolkata (1950), dedicating her life to serving the poor and sick. She received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 and was canonized as Saint Teresa of Calcutta in 2016.
· Observances: The day is marked with special Masses, prayers, and tributes at the Missionaries of Charity's Mother House in Kolkata and globally. In 2026, the world observes her 116th birth anniversary.
