These conflicts are sometimes instrumental in dismantling long standing benchmarks.. in the case of Russia Ukraine crisis it's the Dollar hegemony which is being questioned and alternates being explored.. Trade settlements which were for the longest time been Dollar denominated are now being settled in Yuan and INR.. thereby questioning the Dollar supremacy..
