Conducting Body: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB)
Posts: Graduate & Undergraduate level non-technical roles in Indian Railways (e.g., Station Master, Train Clerk, Commercial Apprentice)

Selection Stages:
CBT 1 → CBT 2 → Typing/CBAT (if applicable) → Document Verification & Medical

Mode: Computer-Based Test
Total Time: 90 mins per CBT
Negative Marking: 1/3rd for each wrong answer

रेल इंजन के ऊपर लगे दो बड़े पंखों का मुख्य कार्य है:

इंजन के अंदर शक्तिशाली मशीनों को ठंडा रखना।

रेलवे इंजन (विशेषकर डीजल इंजन या डीजल-इलेक्ट्रिक इंजन) विशाल डीजल इंजन या जनरेटर पर चलते हैं।

जब यह इंजन चलता है तो बहुत अधिक गर्मी उत्पन्न होती है।

इंजन और जेनरेटर में गर्मी कम करने के लिए बड़े रेडिएटर लगे होते हैं (कार रेडिएटर की तरह, लेकिन बहुत बड़े)।

ठंडा पानी या शीतलक उस रेडिएटर के माध्यम से प्रसारित होता है, लेकिन इसके अंदर की गर्म हवा को निकालने या ठंडा करने के लिए एक बड़े पंखे की आवश्यकता होती है।

इसलिए इंजन के ऊपर दो बड़े पंखे लगे हैं - वे बहुत जोर से हवा खींचते हैं और उसे रेडिएटर से उड़ा देते हैं, ताकि इंजन ठंडा रहे।

संक्षेप में:

रेल इंजन पंखे का कार्य इंजन और रेडियेटर को ठंडा करना है, ताकि इंजन अधिक गर्म न हो जाए और क्षतिग्रस्त न हो जाए।
