A Moment of Great Honour at our TET&SD Stall!

We were privileged to welcome Honourable Mr. Naveen Misra to our TET&SD stall at the Jana Kalyan Sibir (JKS) Camp in Borough VII.

The Technical Education, Training & Skill Development (TET&SD) Department, Government of West Bengal, successfully organized a Technical Support Workshop on 12 June 2026 at Milan Mela Prangan, Kolkata, to explore partnerships with Anchor Industry Partners (AIPs) for the implementation of the PM-SETU Scheme in the state.
The workshop witnessed the participation of over 60 leading industries, industry chambers, sector representatives, officials from the Government of West Bengal, representatives from the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), the National PM-SETU Program Management Unit (NPMU), the World Bank, and other key stakeholders.
The session was chaired by Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, TET&SD Department, Shri Jagannath Chattopadhyay. Opening remarks were delivered by Shri Rajeev Kumar, IAS, Principal Secretary, TET&SD Department, while the workshop concluded with remarks from Shri Dhiman Barai, Special Secretary, TET&SD Department.
The deliberations focused on strengthening industry partnerships and advancing skill development opportunities for the youth of West Bengal under the PM-SETU Scheme.
