It all started with one young woman trying to raise funds for spreading cancer awareness. It resulted in 10 new clinical trials being possible for Cancer Research UK.
So, how did the campaign actually raise Cancer Awareness and Funding?
- opened opportunities for other charities to use the same method
- generated 600 news stories
reached 80 per cent of UK adults
- achieved 221,400 Facebook fans and 8,000 Twitter followers.
