Literature is an endless sea. You never know enough about it.

Today is the birthday of such an author, may be whose book have been definitely handed to all of us in our childhood. Mostly he is famed for his books that amuse children, which includes Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Witches and many more but his first book, that got published, A Piece of Cake, was actually written upon the wartime adventures of World War II.
This versatile persona had also been awarded for his macabre adult short stories which consists of some jaw dropping twists, for example, The Collector's Item.
Though this wartime fighter pilot had to face a dark and brutal world in reality but his works are like fresh airy sky full of wit and humour.

In American author, Earnest Hemingway's works we get to see the use of this value. His protagonists, the old fisherman of 'The Old Man And the Sea' or Fredric Henry of 'Farewell to the Arms', are believer of the Nada Concept and the plot moves around them so.

He, joining with Coleridge, started composing The Preludes in 1798 at the age of 28. It is an autobiographical poem which got published posthumously. Here the journey of a man from childhood to adulthood, passing through adolescence has been depicted. Through out his poems he has depicted Nature as a guiding force which leads the man in the journey from innocence to experience.
