We fondly look back on our students’ participation in the Blood Donation Camp organised at The West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS).

The event offered our students an opportunity to witness and be part of an initiative dedicated to saving lives, while also interacting with distinguished medical professionals and senior University officials.

World Physiotherapy Day at Barackpore College of Education

Celebrating World Physiotherapy Day through learning, awareness and meaningful conversations.

Our students and faculty came together to mark the occasion, sharing valuable thoughts on the importance of physiotherapy and physical activity in promoting better health and quality of life.

The session was supported by our faculty members Dr. Rajashree Kar (PT), Dr. Swarnali Saha Paul (PT), and Dr. Priyanka Roy (PT), who encouraged students to understand the wider role and responsibilities of a physiotherapist.

At Barackpore College of Education, we believe that learning physiotherapy is not only about gaining professional skills, but also about developing a deeper understanding of how we can contribute to healthier communities.

Yesterday, on 20th June, 2026, Barackpore College of Education proudly celebrated West Bengal Day, commemorating the contributions of great national leaders and visionaries who played a significant role in shaping modern India.

On this occasion, we fondly remembered Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel for his remarkable efforts towards national unity and Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee for his immense contributions to education, public service and the development of West Bengal.
