Since Collaborative Learning is included in the Course 1.2.3 (1st Half) syllabus and the Concept Attainment Model (CAM) is a part of the Course 1.2.3 (2nd Half) syllabus, the activity successfully integrated both components and enabled students to gain practical exposure and experiential learning experience of both topics simultaneously.
Students actively engaged in group-based tasks involving exemplars, hypothesis formation, attribute identification and concept attainment, thereby enhancing their critical thinking abilities.
As part of the collaborative learning activity, different student groups were formed based on their pedagogy subjects and the top three performing groups were selected by the subject expert, Dr. Sreeparna Chowdhury, based on their performance.
The session created an engaging academic environment and successfully demonstrated how experiential and collaborative approaches can make concept learning more interactive, meaningful, and student-centered.
