Hands that help, save lives!

The Department of Public Health successfully organized a one-day workshop on First Aid and CPR, in collaboration with Manipal Hospitals. This hands-on session equipped students from the Master of Public Health program and the NSHM Institute of Hotel & Tourism Management with essential emergency response skills — from managing bleeding, burns, and fractures to performing life-saving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

The workshop aimed to bridge classroom learning with real-world application, preparing students to respond effectively in medical emergencies.

A sincere thanks to the expert trainers from Manipal Hospitals and Dr Pinaki Sensarma and Ms Nipanjana Saha (Department of Public Health faculties) for their invaluable sessions.

The 1st International Conference – Nutri Connect 2025, the flagship event of NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata, successfully convened at The Bhawanipore Education Society College. Organized by the Department of Dietetics & Nutrition. Stalwarts like Prof. S***a Rao M. Gavaravarapu (Scientist F, ICMR-NIN, Hyderabad) and Ms. Bhakti Samant (Chief Dietitian, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai) ,Prof. Debnath Chaudhuri, Ex-Professor & Head, Department of Biochemistry & Nutrition, All India Institute of Hygiene and Public , Dr. Anindita Ray Chakravarti graced the conference with their presence.
