Excursion to Shantiniketan
Our school organized an exciting excursion to Shantiniketan, a place that reflects the rich cultural heritage of Bengal. The trip was both enjoyable and educational. We visited the famous Sonajhuri Haat, explored the Kankalitala Temple, and took part in a meaningful tree plantation program. In the evening, we enjoyed a vibrant tribal dance followed by a warm bonfire.
A special highlight of the trip was the celebration of the 80th year of Abhinav Bharati High School with cake cutting, dance, and music performances. We also visited the Dokra Art Village to observe traditional metal art and the Visva-Bharati Museum, which deepened our understanding of Rabindranath Tagore’s immense contributions to education and culture.
Our stay at a four-star hotel with excellent facilities, including a playground and swimming pool, made the experience even more memorable. The excursion to Shantiniketan was truly a perfect blend of learning, fun, and togetherness.
