CBSE Revaluation 2026 is raising many important questions for Class 12 students and parents.

What is the status of OSM copy checking?
What should students do if scanned answer sheets have missing pages, blurred pages or wrong answer-book issues?
How should extra questions and totaling be understood?
Were there portal problems?
And most importantly — is there any confirmed update on grace marks?

In my latest News24Media Education Edge video, I explain the issue in a simple and responsible way.

The key message is clear:

Students should not rely on WhatsApp forwards, rumours or unverified claims about grace marks. Unless there is an official CBSE circular or confirmed announcement, automatic general grace marks should not be treated as fact.

Students should carefully check scanned answer sheets, preserve screenshots, payment receipts and application numbers, and follow only the official CBSE process.

Digital evaluation may be the future, but fairness, transparency and student trust must remain central.

CBSE OSM Controversy: Digital Evaluation or Student Trust Crisis?

Board exam marks are not just numbers. They affect college admissions, confidence, scholarships and the future of students. That is why any concern around digital evaluation, re-evaluation, portal stability, cybersecurity and answer-sheet access must be discussed seriously.

📢 Every parent and student needs to know what really happened with CBSE results 2026.

CBSE tried something new this year, evaluating Class 12 answer sheets digitally through a system called On-Screen Marking (OSM). Good idea. But the rollout was dangerously unprepared.

Here's what happened:
📉 Pass rate dropped to 85.20% lowest in 7 years
😟 1,63,800 students placed in the compartment
💻 Portal attacked with 1.5 MILLION hits in just 2 minutes
🔓 Scanned answer sheets are reportedly publicly accessible without login
🏛️ CBSE Chairman and Secretary both transferred
🧑‍💼 A 17-year-old student appeared before Parliament to expose tendering irregularities

Over 70,000 students applied for re-evaluation in just 3 days.

This is not an anti-digital story. It is a story about what happens when institutions rush reform without preparing for it.

Is the CBSE Three-Language Policy a step towards better learning, or could it become another layer of academic pressure for students?

Language learning is important. It builds confidence, communication, cultural understanding and respect for India’s diversity. But the success of any education reform depends not only on intention, but on implementation.

Parents should ask schools clear questions:

Which third language will be introduced?
Will it be taught for communication or only for exams?
Will homework increase?
Are trained language teachers available?
How will the assessment be done?
Will weaker students get support?
Will board exam preparation be affected?
How will student stress and well-being be monitored?

Language classrooms should create curiosity, not anxiety.

India’s linguistic diversity should inspire children — not crush them under pressure.

The real goal should be: confidence, culture, communication and curiosity.
