Little Hearts, Big Dreams, One Proud Nation!

On 14th August, Birla Bharati celebrated Independence Day with young learners from Nursery to Class II. Through age-appropriate discussions, the children explored the significance of Independence Day and learnt about the invaluable contributions of our brave freedom fighters.

Adding colour and creativity to the celebration, the little ones participated in Independence Day-themed craft activities, beautifully expressing the spirit of the tricolour.

It was a joyful and enriching celebration that nurtured patriotism, pride and a deep love for our nation in our youngest citizens.

Cyber Safety Awareness Workshop

On 30th July 2026, a Cyber Safety Awareness Workshop was conducted in the School Auditorium for the students of Classes 9 and 11. The resource persons of the workshop were Sub Inspector Mr. Ranjan Chakraborty and Constable Ms. M. Bhattacharya, from the Cyber Security and Cyber Safety Section, Cyber Crime branch, Detective Department of the Lalbazar Police Station, Kolkata. Mr. Chakraborty commenced the session with a background of digital arrest and enlightened the students on how one can avoid falling prey to such arrests. He mentioned that the fraudsters chiefly aim to seize money and data through phishing links, URLs and remote applications which enable them to work from long distances. He informed about the dos and don’ts regarding lodging inter-state cyber complaints and also cautioned the audience to use communication applications like Telegram judiciously.

Next, Ms. Bhattacharya elaborated the role of Cyber cell and Aadhar-PAN linking with the help of a relevant PPT. The workshop concluded with an interactive Q/A session with the students where they were asked to share the ways to deal with online harassments. The informative workshop enriched and empowered the students towards a more safe and secure online presence.
