A week after Teacher's Day, we are still celebrating. That's the beauty of the work that I do, so much love and affection. I am grateful to Almighty for giving me such amazing students.

The journey of a teacher is filled with memories that are to be cherished forever. The countless wishes, gifts and unconditional love makes me wonder what have I done right. The adoration and reverence that I get is what inspires me to become better for not just my students but for myself as well. My students have been my biggest teacher to be honest. They have taught me to be better every single day...

A TEACHER'S REQUEST TO ALL THE GUARDIANS/PARENTS🙏

If you have a daughter, don't rely on the Govt. for her safety.
Teach her self-defense so that she can protect herself.
I know you want your daughter to be a good singer, painter or dancer along with a brilliant student. But self-defense is more important in the current scenario.

As the Govt. is incompetent to protect our daughters, lets make them strong enough to protect themselves. Lets build their self-confidence and courage by giving them the power to fight against the monsters that roam freely around them.

How long are we going to wait for the change? How long will we let our daughters suffer without any mistake? Which place is safe for our daughters? We all know the answer to these questions.

If you are the mother of a son, before dreaming about his successful career, make him a good human being.
It is the failure of a mother when her son fails to respect womanhood.

Tell your son what you have faced as women, teach him good and bad touch and the importance of respecting women. Focus on developing his moral characters. Tell him about your struggles as a woman and let him know what his mother has faced.

Some mothers tell their daughters what they have faced in order to warn them about the society. But they feel shy to tell the same things to their sons, without thinking that in future their sons may become the next monster that the girls are scared about.

You not sharing your story with your son means you are not educating him about the society in the proper way and allowing him to live in a bubble.

No mother would ever want to see the day when her daughter had been humiliated and disrespected. Likewise, no mother would want to live with the fact that her son is a criminal.

"Please remember, it all starts as home."

I had no intention to hurt the sentiment of anyone🙏 but as a teacher it's impossible for me not to take a stand when the future of my students are at stake.

And to all the school teachers and guardians who are reading this, please give a petition at your school to incorporate self-defenses and moral lessons as compulsory subjects.

I believe that a right push from all of us can make a change.
What we need right now is better character and not just a good career for our future generations.

"YOUR CHILD IS THE FUTURE. WE CAN'T CHANGE THE PAST BUT WE CAN IMPROVE THE FUTURE."
